Jodette Lee Wojna

JODETTE LEE WOJNA October 23,1961 to August 13,2021 Jodette Lee Wojna, 59, of Carson City, Nevada, wife of Edward D. Wojna, passed away on August 13, 2021, at the Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 23, 1961, she was the only daughter of the late Joseph and Donna (Roth) Vellutato. Jodette graduated from George Whittell High School in 1979. She attended Brooks College of Fashion Design in Long Beach, Ca., receiving an associate degree in Fashion Design. She worked at different jobs in the fashion design and modeling industry. She also worked in the construction and landscaping industry. She found great fulfillment in all those endeavors. Jodette was an avid skier, skilled artist and enjoyed sports of every kind. She enjoyed keeping the yard of her Carson City home of 20 years well-manicured each and every year. She used her talents well in the custom interior design of that home. Her generous and giving spirit were evident to all she met. Most of all, she found great inspiration in her worship of The God of The Bible, Jehovah. She always took the time to enjoy and ponder His creation, which left her in awe. From viewing Lake Tahoe from a high vantage point to a sea level sunset, her faith was always strengthened in God's promises for our future. That God gave her the power beyond what is normal in the courage she displayed at the end of her life. Jodette was a wonderful wife and shared a beautiful life with her loving husband. She is survived by her beloved husband Edward of 36 years, her brothers Joseph J. Vellutato of Carson City, NV., James Vellutato and sister-in-law Lorrie (Provost) Vellutato of Topanga Canyon, CA., niece Dominique Vellutato of North Hollywood, CA., and nephew Michael Vellutato of Playa Del Rey, CA. She was predeceased by her brother Daniel Vellutato. A small family service will be held at a future date. We appreciate the overflowing love and support we have received at this exceedingly difficult time.
