Timothy William Green

September 15, 1948 - March 7, 2022

Timothy W. Green was born in Wilbur, WA on September 15, 1948 to George and Margaret Green. Tim passed away in Carson City, NV on March 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Dee Green. He is survived by 5 siblings: Michele’ Green (Richard Platner), Michael Green (Emily), Kevin Green (Leslie), Christine (Green) Diklich (Peter), and Terrance Green (Debbie); two children: Tammy (Green) Lopez (Robert) and Timothy Green, II, one granddaughter, Ariel Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews. After Tim graduated from Wilbur High School in 1967, he enlisted in the Air Force where he spent 22 plus years before retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He did tours in Washington State, Viet Nam, Oklahoma, Florida, Colorado, Idaho, Alaska, the Pentagon, Korea and Virginia. After retirement he then worked as a manager of a small casino/restaurant; for the State of Nevada at the University of Nevada, Reno; and the Department of Transportation. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in December 2002, he worked for the Federal government at the VA Hospital in Roseburg, OR and finally at the National Wild Horse and Burro Center at Palomino Valley, Reno, NV where he retired for the last time. Tim was laid to rest March 24, 2022 @11:00 a.m., at the North Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV. Arrangement made through Autumn Funeral & Cremations of Carson City.
