Biography Sylvia M. Glenn May 4, 1917 - May 4, 2011 Sylvia passed away peacefully on her 94th birthday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Arbuckle, CA and graduated from Pierce High School and attended Healds Business College. While she was working for the State of California she met her husband, Tom, at the California State Fair. They were married for 52 years. During their married life they lived in Pleasant Grove, CA where they raised their family. After leaving Pleasant Grove they moved to Rocklin, CA. Her husband Tom, son Gail and Grand-daughter Aileen preceded her in death. In 2009 Sylvia moved to an independent living facility in Carson City, NV to be near her two daughters. Sylvia loved being with her family and she will be greatly missed by all. Prior to her death she enjoyed walking her dog Domino, playing bean bag baseball and going to the local casinos where she enjoyed an occasional martini. Sylvia is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Urban, Minden, NV., Joyce Long and husband Gary of Incline Village, NV, her nine grandchildren, Daryl, Darren, Jason, Ryan and Kristen Glenn. Jonathan and Justin Urban, David Long, Joy Meadows and eight great grand children.
