Angela E Bongi passed away in Carson City, NV on January 4, 2022 at the age of 80 years old after a short battle with COVID. She is proceeded in death by her parents Angelo and Josephine Bongi and brother John Bongi. She is survived by her son Dan Sharkey of Auckland, New Zealand (wife Amanda, children Tori, Kain and Mercedes), sister Gail Bongi Azevedo of Santa Rosa, CA (husband Steve, children Maria, Marc, Angelo and their families), and her close nieces and nephew Lisa Bongi of Ventura, CA (husband Rick), Mike Bongi of Peoria, Arizona (wife Judy, children Nicholas and Tony) and Gina McGlynn of Wiesbaden, Germany (husband Scott). Always up for adventure and fun, she took flying lessons, opened a travel agency, and pursued her love for travel by exploring the world. Later in life she found a fur baby companion in Frisco, and together they rode in her Purple PT Cruise, with flames on the side, while driving around to visit family and friends. She lived life to the fullest and loved people, working part-time at Home Depot until her illness. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
